Hello dear friends!

Nothing like a hectic year to appreciate the past (and hopefully future) calmer times. I have moved to Phoenix and the fall season caught me a bit behind. Nevertheless, the only direction I see is forward and I am currently striving to complete my remaining festivals with energy and vive...or at least attend them all!

I somehow managed to finish three prints and dust off and dress up some blocks. And although I forgot to announce in advanced, the episode of Home & Garden Television's "That's Clever!" aired without a hitch and I am now featured in their website (well, "featured" along with a few hundred other artists/crafters). Thoughts and ramblings:

This year was about realizing what is important and essential in my life. I found out that, mostly, I have been wrong about myself and also that I can do with little. I guess it was time for a complete trim down, more like a self remodeling perhaps, and in the process I continue to learn about myself, my strengths and weaknesses both. In the end I learned that art and love are probably the most important things in my life, not necessarily in that order. Everything else seems so distant and superfluous.
