Amanda W. Yopp

Amanda W. Yopp was born in Fairfield, CA, in 1974 and currently resides in Tucson, AZ.
Ms. Yopp's work has been featured in a two-person show at Central Arts Collective, a co-operative gallery in Tucson, AZ. She has also participated in several group shows at museums and galleries, including The Flinders Museum of Art, Adeliade, South Australia, The Elam School of Fine Arts, Auckland, New Zealand; and in "Multi-Mini," an exhibition and exchange that was shown in nine communities in the United States at the same time, including the University Museum, Carbondale, IL, and Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO. In addition, her work is in private and public collections, including those at the Tucson Museum of Art, Tucson, AZ, and the Scottsdale Museum for Contemporary Arts, Scottsdale, AZ.
Ms. Yopp is recipient of several awards, scholarships, and internships. In 1996 she received a Visual Arts Award from the Arizona Artists Guild, Phoenix, AZ. In 1997 she received a Fine Arts scholarship from the University of Arizoan, Tucson, AZ and was also a summer intern for the Women's studio Workshop, Rosendale, NY. In 1998, Ms. Yopp worked an excavation of a Roman cold water bath in Chianciano Terme, Italy, hosted by Dr. David Soren.
Ms. Yopp attended the University of Arizona, Tucson, and received a B.F.A. in Printmaking and a Minor in Etruscan and Roman Art History in 1998.
